Most of these broadcasters need to realise that like with managers great player doesn't necessary = great pundit.
Danny Murphy was a decent player and shows up the likes of Shearer as a pundit.
The bbc had Lee Dixon who was also good but sidelined him presumably on the basis that Shearer is a bigger name.
Did I mention that Shearer is a plank

BBC hate West Ham. Have done since Tevez etc. Witness the totally one sided docu on the Olympic stadium the other night.

Problem with MOTD is that their highlights have such limited time so they do concentrate on chances. It's bascially a collection of the games chances mixed with yellow cards, red cards and incidents.

What BBC don't realise is that MOTD doesn't draw in ratings because it's got Gary Linekar as the presenter, it draws in ratings because its got highlights of every premier league game. They could have the voice off the talking clock presenting it and it wouldnt impact viewing figures. Complete waste of taxpayers money

Have to agree with what's already been said
I watched the entire match live then went to watch the highlights on MOTD
The way the match had been edited was a total disgrace. It didn't show any of the cracking football we played. It made it appear that the 2 goals we scored were completely against the run of play
Most of it was about Arsenals "missed chances" where in reality Adrian made a couple of good saves but essentially didn't have a lot to do
This made him look like MOM. There was very little mention of the brilliant performance of young Reece Oxford either
I thought big ears was leaving the BBC to concentrate on advertising crisps anyway
It's about time the BBC pissed off anyway with their exhorbitant licence fees

Could help but notice in the signature theme at the start of the show we are barely represented, apart from a split second shot of Bilic..face glum, looking to the heavens. Maybe a tad sensitive but after the stick we took for daring to part ways with Allardyce....feel like it was an indirect pop at us.
